George A. Romero's Survival of the Dead.

Crappy zombie movies make great social commentary.

Well that's my nightmares complete for the night.
I'm actually not mentally right after watching it.

Watched "Vampires Suck" last night, in cinemas in the next month or so (Friend found it off the back of a truck or something :P) It's a twilight parody, quite funny

    Batman: Mask of the Phantasm

Absolute cracker of a movie. One of the best Batman movies IMO.

I really want to see Toy Story 3 as well though. Blah. Must go find someone to go see it with next week.

Not the most obscenely big Toy Story fan, but Toy Story 3 is absolutely brilliant :D

The Fly is on Film Four tonight if anybody wants something really freaky to watch. Quite enjoyable though.

I have to admit Hugh Grant films are a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine.
About A Boy is definitely my favourite though! So full of win.

I watched The Damned United. It focuses on Brian Clough's 44-day stint at Leeds United. Missed the first twenty minutes but it was brilliant, Michael Sheen was incredible as Clough. Timothy Spall was his usual solid self. There was a class documentary about Clough on afterwards. He once had the gall to criticise Muhammad Ali from the audience on a chat show, what a guy. :D

Anyone remember Auf Wiedersehen Pet (that included Spall in the cast)? Used to love that as a kid - must get it on DVD.

Watching "A Prophet" at long last. Seems really incredible so far, can definitely see why it got so many Oscar nods.

The Pacific. It's incredible. You should watch it.

Not as good as Band of Brothers, though, but the difference is marginal.

    Toy Story 3-epicness <3

^ Aye, very good. Not a massive fan of the other films (in fact I'm unsure whether or not I've watched the second one) but TS3 was thoroughly entertaining. Lazlo was the man.

Watched Alien last night. I was expecting good things... but it took too long to get going and what happened after was all too predictable. Not really enough suspense either. The Thing is much better methinks.

It was easily one of the best films I've ever seen. It was like an intelligent Ocean's 11... only good.
