Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Does anyone know of any Android Apps that will allow me to listen to BBC radio on my Hero?

UKRadio and Beebplayer are both available in the UK but not here in Ireland.

    Anyone know of any other?

    Cheers

I downloaded Beebplayer but unfortunately it didn't work. When you try to connect to the tv it just give the usual "not available in your region" statement. With regards to the radio it does try to connect but each time I tried it just timed out or I got bored and gave up. I never expected the TV to work given the iPlayer's ip limitations, but had expected the radio stations to work as they're not restricted.

UKRadio apparently does connect but from the comments I read it's notoriously crap and constantly looses the feed/connection so I never bothered downloading it.

And beyond those two I couldn't find anything else, and I did a 'lot' of searching.:(

I'm afraid anyone wanting BBC radio, your best bet is to get FroYo and hence flash which enables you to listen online direct from the BBC websites.

I'm using XiiaLive Lite (formerly DroidLive) to listen to the BBC World Service radio on my Desire, think I had to add the feed manually. Probably the other BBC radio stations are available as well, worth a try anyway.

Radiotime is brilliant. It's a paid app so you'll need a workaround to get it.

Oh my god, that app is class, it seems like it has ALL the stations in the world!
    Awesome stuff!

Not only you get all the BBC stations but I get all of the stations from my hometown Lisbon!

It really is spectacular. I was showing it to a friend in the pub the other night and we were listening to a local channel from her home town in Japan.
