i was so tempted to go real big on Mikael Dhaguenet but something just told me not to.not sure what as his record is unbelievable but the way mullins has been talking about him is putting me off big time,,
another thing thats putting me off is he hasnt run for 600 days...

"We're taking a chance running in this race, but it's just the way everything has happened this year," said Mullins.

"I'm hoping he gets a clear round and that would be the priority. If he can run well after that, then I'll be very pleased.

"Everything is all right with him and we're happy with where he's at, but a trouble-free round is the main thing we want."

maybe im misunderstanding what he is saying but i dont think il even have a small bet after that..

    WON;)

This is the best pick ive made all day,,after listening to my gut and going against the unbeaten fav has saved me a fortune.
i knew the way mullins was interviewed and the way he was solely wanting a clean round,it was like that was his goal...so happy right now.
i layed him at 1.33 in running and put 100 on it,,wont count it towards the log though..im sick of this screenshot thing,ye other believe me or you dont..:pac:

ere since im already paid for the day i hope golden silver wins it for ya.
only reason in backing my selection was that if he jumps better than he ever has before he stands a massive chance, has been really unlucky in his last races..pyro seems to have confidence in him aswel so that all adds up.
only tiny stake so i dont care really..

    thanks coughlan,

got my fingers badly burnt with zaarito on two occasions
    i said never again
the ability certainly is there with a clear round

i wouldnt be worried about osana at all
no way can he beat the front two imo

    very small sadly

just under a three figure return for a tenner invested

anyone see the twist magic race?

    forgot all about him
meant to back him but was going to back when the tapes
went up in case he dug his heels in
i see he was unplaced but was wondering if he consented to run

sorry coughlan, prob shud be posting elsewhere but i reckon most
of the racing community on boards are looking in here :D

    Zaarito 8/1

very happy with the way zaarito jumped traded at around the even money mark, but goldens class shown through in the end to justify his odds on figure..

ha no problem, just withdraw it now and spend it like theres no tomo...:pac:
a pity tante sissi couldnt do the business,a big gamble on here into 6/4 before the off and traded at 1.3,just couldnt quicken that little bit more in the final 100yrd.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,899 ✭✭✭coughlan08

one of my best days to date, frightening stuff.
on a side note, sad to see twist magic being put down..:o
i dont no how ive been able to pick these winners as a few months ago i couldnt pick my nose when it came to horse racing bar the favourites that i crossed checked which was profitable but this is now a whole new level for me.the satisfaction of getting a winner when you know it was your own selection cannot be compared to favourite backing as ive said before..

the log made a profit of 490 today and i personally made 590(laying a fav in running a 1.33)..
thats double my starting bank just 5 days ago.

ive almost multiplied my starting bank by 6 since starting 5 days ago which is crazy stuff..
id love to know my ROI but am far to lazy to find out..:o

    Balance=1683.02..........................Profit=1433.02

Have two more bets on tonight which I'll be keeping a drunken eye on. I'm up about 7 or 800 over the past two weeks which is great. Love how it has just came good just when I'm in serious need of cash before christmas. I'll probably wait until the weekend and have a few bets on draws in the French League then withdraw a good chunk of it to spend over christmas:D.

Yeah would have been great for Tante Sissi to come in but I suppose 4 out of 9 isn't too bad for your days work haha.

    King is the King.

His stablemate pipped Tante sisi ^^
I backed every King horse today, i think 3 winners and some places, up a nice bit, not a patch on the OP though :D
