too good of a spread and hopefully magic will ease a small bit knowing they have the game won,

    WON

magic kicked into gear after a terrible 2nd which at 1 stage i think they were down 20.

ran them very close with 4-5 mins left, were only 3 points down.
traded at 3/1,was thinking about laying it for around 30 profit but didnt bother as the stake was so small..

the game finished 89-100 so the bet was a push.the +4.5 was obviously a loser.my luck of late has changed big time so will be taking a break if i dont make a substantial profit tomo, if i dont i will continue again after kauto star runs.this will be fairly hard as i will be out all day tomo and wont have access or be sober enough to bet,..

When betting on an event at a price this good, you could always decide beforehand what price you'd be wiling to lay at and as soon as/if that price is met your bet will be matched without the need to keep an eye on the market. Not that you don't know this already, but worth thinking about anyway.

Ah jes was unlucky with Wee Giant there. Ran him close but, ****e.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,899 ✭✭✭coughlan08

    the double was unlucky again,

i think i going to have to start laying in running if i have any chance of winning.
Mongoose Alert won easily and wee giant traded at 1.5 in running,if i had layed proportionately in running to balance the profit then i could of made
362 profit if ye won and 325 profit if he lost.

    WON

at least i was spot on because i dont think i could of handled this race..
yankee storm was beaten by a neck to my other pick which i thought would beat him sarahs art.
now if only i did the forecast.

i dont think so no,i think im going to limit my in running bets to big doubles like today when i could of made a decent profit whether win/lose.
the 20 stake isnt that much in comparison to my bank so you could say its just a 1 point bet.

big danger for me is Zelos Diktator,if he beats him he wins the race imo...value small bet for me..

well as i said if he beat Zelos Diktator he would win the race, unfortunately he didnt and came second.
he traded as low as 1.3 in running and looked like he would win fairly easy.

Zelos Diktator traded as high as 26.0 and was ridiculously high when you factor in his ability,i got a 5 euro on at 17.0 as i said before the only horse he had to beat was this one so i though i was a win win situation and it was,30 profit from that..could of been a lot better though.

on a side note celtic won easy today so am delighted about that..

well ive come a long way in regards to making a few bob.but to improve the log and gain a bit of respect back on here i still have a bit to do..

the lads know i have an odd bet but thats it really, they dont have an interest in it so its something we dont really discuss..bar giving them the odd "tip" that is close to a certainty as possible..hate to see my close friends lose any small bit of money..

I think you mean it's great to see that he's winning hundreds, sure many people gamble hundreds to no return, and they're not great! :pac:
