    when is the meet-up planned?

    Friday 26th?
Porterhouse on the end of Grafton St?

Well, that was what was suggested. And I've just found out have family visiting for the weekend, therefore won't be able to go. Am really disappointed :(

I am 33. what is the guy girl ratio? a balance of the sexes would be good.

BTW how will we recognise each other?

has a time been suggested yet?

porterhouse would be a good venue. do we need to book or would there be space anyway if we turn up early enough?

I am female (the Ms. might be a clue:p) and I am 29. What time are people thinking of?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,566 ✭✭✭Gillo

I'm male, or at least I was last time I checked.

The way I see it, you could meet straight after work so about 5 or 6, or give people a chance to head home get a feed and head back in so somewhere between eight and nine.

Personnaly it suits me to head along later but that's just me.

26 here, the baby as of yet. it seems the date suggested is out for me, working!! but will be at the next provided there is enough notice!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 330 ✭✭cojack101

Well I leave the country for 7 days and it fell apart, but the group going for pints seems to have gotten bigger.. small mercies and all that =P

Have we organised a time, if not say 8.30?

Easiest way to meet might be we grab the table in the window just on the left hand side of the main entrance (the only table at a window), and sure if anyones still worried if you PM me Ill send you my mobile to give me a buzz on the night.

Numbers us probably the best bet as mist tables will be gone by then.

    Hi,
I have lived in Dublin all my life but would like to start to meet or make new friends. Not a huge drinker so not into clubbing and such - love music, movies, walking and am looking for girls or guys around my age 35 too hang out with,
    thanks.

    Best of luck.

any update on the time people will be showing up? how will we recognise one another?

  • Registered Users Posts: 189 ✭✭Ms. Ka

I am aiming for 8:30, I dont know how will we recognise each other. I am guessing there will be a work crowd still there so its going to be busy.

  • Registered Users Posts: 330 ✭✭cojack101

Can we get a head count please?

won-t be able to make it tonight as not feeling too well - next time?

most boards meet up's reserve tables in a certain name, you will be able to find everyone or they have something on the table that will stand out

One particular forum requests that neebie bring a can of condensed milk (long story)

but why doesnt the op, get some heluim balloons and put on the table or something like that

or pm each other your mobile numbers

hmm, this does not sound good. everyone in the pub is our age group and most people are in groups. I will drop in around 8:30 to see what what I can see.

Too disorganised guys.. I can see myself standing on my own for 30 mins then going home.

    Arrange another one sure.

  • Registered Users Posts: 189 ✭✭Ms. Ka

ok so is no one is going to show up?
If so will we arrange another meet up? Maybe on a school night?

sorry, i didnt see this thread sooner :(

but if you organise it again, make some plans on how you recognise each like a pineapple on the table something that stands out in the crowd.

i know a number of forums are organising christmas beers, you should check them out.

there was talk off another dublin city beers, so keep an eye here too :)

i have been to many boards beers and have made some great friends (even meet my boy at one)
