    Ah yeh, if someone has a blinder or scores a screamer, there'll generally be a mention from Des but the emphasis is always on how well we played as a team. And we never go through the team player-by-player...even calling out each individually that did well in a list is open to the interpretation that those not listed didn't play as well, so it can be a little counter-productive. We do have to be a little more wary than most teams as part of our dressing room banter area is public.

    We've been at this 3 years and we've never had any resentment amongst the squad or anyone pursuing a glorying agenda to get the great kudos, so it does work.

    Don't get me wrong, when you do great things for this team, you get great appreciation from your teammates in person, and it's worth it, but that appreciation could be based on playing a great pass or setting up a man in a better position when you had a shot on yourself, as much as based on beating 3 men and scoring.
