Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I have a Dell Dimension. After months of blue screens and multiple errors, I finally decided to reinstall Windows XP. The problem is I accidentally wiped the Dell partition which contained the Windows install files. The PC didn't come with any reinstallation disks, just a CD-shaped piece of paper saying "you don't need a disk, just click on your desktop" or something.

I'm now using Linux and really need to get back to Windows. Any ideas how to get my XP back without a disk? My warranty has expired, so I assume Dell won't be much help... I'm having trouble contacting them anyway.

    Thanks in advance!

    :o

If you deleted the recovery partition and the OS then there's not much you can do without either a Dell XP recovery disc or a full copy of XP.

Dell or Microsoft may be able to help. You do own a license for XP so if you try microsoft and tell give them your license key they might be able to help.
