Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

at that rate of pay employers prsi A0 class is 8.5%

I will be corrected if I am wrong, prsi is a tricky one and a payroll programme usually handles it

    Payroll programmes.

Pfft. If I had a euro for every payroll person I had to spoon feed. Oh wait- I have lots. :D

    Anyway,

If you are lazy you can look around for any number of free tax calculators on the web.

If you're not you can do the sums.

    Salary 17,993

PRSI first 127 per week exempt. Employer 10.75% Employee 4%
Employees are exempt from PRSI on the first €127 per week or €26 per week for employees on a modified PRSI rate. Employees earning €352 or less per week in 2009 or 2010 are exempt from PRSI and Health Contribution. However, where earnings exceed €352 per week in 2009 or 2010, the employee’s PRSI Free Allowance remains at €127 per week or €26 per week for employees on a modified PRSI rate. Employees earning €500 or less per week in 2009 or 2010 are exempt from Health Contribution.

    Income Levy 2%

    Refers.

Do you need to do their PAYE?
