Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All

I'm looking for someone to point me in the right direction. The coding in my 2001 Leon immobiliser has gone A- wall since I removed the clocks and now I cant get it started.

I know a Seat Garage can do it but the closest one is Midleton and I’m hoping to get closer to the city or find someone that mite be able to do a callout.

    Thanks

Kevin O'Leary's on the Douglas road are Seat too...I'd imagine stupidly expensive knowing them though.

There's a crowd Autowerks near Midleton. VAG specialist. Might do call out. Of the Seat dealers in Cork though Cashmans are the best of the lot

    Have a look at vagdrivers.net.
It is an Irish VAG based forum, there are some very knowledgeable people on there and some have VAG diagnostics.

There has got to be an enthusiast around Cork with VAG com (VAG diagnostics). I am sure you will find someone close by that would call out to you for few quid.

EDIT PS if you put the same instrument cluster back in, fully connected it should work OK, But as it dosen't try disconnecting the battery and letting the power drain from the ECU for a few minutes, then retry.

You could also look up VAGcom, there may be some information there that might help, or google search vw immobilizer problem (I know it is a seat but you will get more results with VW)
