Removing wallpaper-paint directly on or use lining paper?

Hi, Removing the wallpaper in my kitchen,nearly finished.Walls are fairly good in most places but the paint has come away at a certain spot leaving just bare plaster(about 1 metre long,half metre wide).So should I apply primer/undercoat to this spot and then paint the whole kitchen with my chosen colour?Will this be…

Hi,
Removing the wallpaper in my kitchen,nearly finished.Walls are fairly good in most places but the paint has come away at a certain spot leaving just bare plaster(about 1 metre long,half metre wide).So should I apply primer/undercoat to this spot and then paint the whole kitchen with my chosen colour?Will this be noticeable still?Or should I use lining paper to cover all the walls,then paint onto this paper.Would this be a better cover up?Thanks
