password on messages on nokia 5530

i know on some phones you can set a password so that you have to enter it every time you want to go into your messages. Can you do this on the 5530

Nokia dont have that function. Samsung handsets have that type of lock.

Nokia have a phone lock code, where the whole phones is locked. You can set it to lock after a certain about of time, like 2 minutes is the default. You will find it security settings.
