Just wondering if the maths questions in the leaving cert are going to be different this year since the log tables are different?
The log tables seem to contain a lot more information, so does this mean the questions are going to be harder to compensate?

Doubt it... it's pass maths like! They can't make it hard cause then they will end up with way more people failing ! The real thing should be like what the mocks were like this year... they are not goning to give you marks for just writing down the formula ,like they used to, but instead they will give you the marks for subbing in!
Also, since this year is the first year they may have already had the papers made out before the log tables were introduced!
    I think we'll be grand!

For some questions the marking scheme will give attempt marks for the formula- despite it being in the log tables some people may not know what formula to use- whether its in there or not.
