Girls Open Day
A Club for every girl to play
Where: Bushy Park
Date: Sunday 18th April 2010
Starts: 10.30am
Duration: 2 Hours
Girls of all ages and abilities are welcome- Our open day is for Girls who might be interested in playing Football or perhaps just looking to try something new to see if they enjoy it.
- We will introduce each girl to the basic skills of Football in a structured mini coaching environment.
- All activities and games will have an emphasis on Fun and enjoyment.
- Each session will be delivered by our Senior Girls Team Players who have recently completed part 1 of their FAI Kick Start Coaching Programme along with other Coaches from the Club
Girls will be divided into age appropriate groups for all the Activities & Games.
Girls Academy: 10 Week Programme
The following Sunday after the Open Day we will be running a 10 Week Girls Development Academy each Sunday morning in Bushy Park for all girls, of all ages who would like to further improve their skills among their peers.
Begins: April 25th, 10.30am, (Duration 1 Hour), Bushy Park

Terenure Football Club is actively trying to develop and grow a Schoolgirls Development Academy to the Club in 2010 along with expanding our Senior Women’s Teams.
After the open day we hope that it will encourage each girl to continue their involvement in Football and Sport.
Through the development of the Schoolgirls Development Academy we would like to create Schoolgirl Teams for the 2010/11 Winter League that begins in September 2010.
We hope to achieve growth to our Schoolgirls Development Academy in partnership with the FAI by carrying out a number of Football Coaching Sessions in the Local Schools.
The emphasis of the Schoolgirls Development Academy will be Player Development, Basic Movements, Fun Games, Skills and Small Matches. Girls will learn the disciplines and fundamental rules of the game and develop new friendships and interpersonal skills
If you have a Daughter, Family Member or a Friend, of any age who may be interested in playing then please pass on this information.
Girls of all ages and ability are encouraged come along for our open day
