Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I bought one recently from Aldi/Lidl. really enjoyed playing with it, took it everywhere and if I had a spare few minutes, I would play for a few minutes there. Then my little boy broke it  .
I dont think Aldi/ Lidl stock it anymore.
The thing cost around 30e as far as I recall.
Any ideas for a decent replacement so I can play with myself!:D

If you have an I-pod touch or an I-phone there is a great free app for it. passes the spare minutes perfectly.

I have one, if you want it for 20 quid it's yours because I never use it. Made by Millenium and was in Lidl a few months back.

thanks Dave for the offer, this is the chess set I had, for that price (roughly), I also bought the same product from them a few mths ago. Its broke now, so I would prefer to try a different brand now, in the hope that this one will last longer!

you don't need an iphone - my phone which is a fairly cheap Sony Ericsson came with a chess application, not particularly strong but should give most players a good game. If your phone didn't come with one, you can probably still download one.
