    Does anyone think the points will go up because of the common first year
    What do you think you would have to get to gaurantee a place.

    I would be amazed if you got over 460-470 points and didn't get in.

    I would say they will be around the 460 - 480 mark, couldn't see it going any higher than that.

    Aim for as much points as you can, especially in your maths/applied maths/physics/chemistry.

    Last year, in Eng Science (A now discontinued course) the last person in was at 450 from memory. If you hit 475+ you'd more than likely get a place.
