Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Crank problems, help and advice required

Hi all, I 'm having problems with my crank I think which I need help with. Its giving off an unmerciful grinding/squeaking sound when I'm cycling, but when I change down into a very low gear the noise pretty much goes away, the same as when I stick it on a stand to have a look. The chain is not rubbing off the derailleur, and the chain and cassette are only 6 months old.

Any ideas as to what it may be? And if it is bearing related how easy would it be to take apart and clean or change. I'm now living abroad and am afraid of going to a shop and ending buying parts I dont need to as a result of language barrier and/or stupidity on my part. I have a class with Mr Skeff so am not afraid of having a go if it aint too complicated. Its a specialized hardrock Im using for commuting with a truvativ crank. Any advice will be appreciated.
