Second hand Clothes Shops

I am looking at opening a second hand clothes shop and was just wondering if anyone knows about the tax implications of such a business. Also would VAT have to be paid on the sale of the second hand clothes. Any help would be much appreciated

Hi there< i saw our post and was very curious. I too am opening a second hand shop, well a consignment shop. I am finding it very hard to decipher what type of vat I liable to pay. Have you found an useful information? I would really apprecciate the info!
