Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Internet Connection Probs (when dowloading torrent)

I am having trouble with my internet, think its to do with my router (Zyxel one eircom gave me).
Problem is when i am downloading torrenets the internet on my desktop (connection via ethernet) goes dead. I have limited my upload speed, there are no conflicts on ports being used. Even when there is nothing dowloading but utorrent or vuze are open, I can't browse... (I can't even open up 192.168.1.254 - my router settings page!)

However using my laptop I can browse the interent with no issues even when there is a torrent downloading on my desktop! Seems strange....(laptop using same router wirelessly)

Both my laptop and desktop are on static ip's, and I have ports assigned for my desktop via NAT for torrent downloading and web browsing

Have tried both vuze and utorrent and am getting the same problem....

Only thing I can think of is Qos, but went into that screen and didn't really understand how to prioritise borwsing....

Anyone any ideas or if they think it is Qos can they give me a hand changing those settings (using default eircom firmware that came with the router). Any body have same prob?

    Thanks!
