Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just thought I share my happy story.

We finally got rid if the 2003 1.8 petrol Freelander, and now have one of the best cars I've ever owned, and 01 Audi A6 1.9tdi estate.

Delighted with it in every way. But we thought the fuel gauge must be broken as we've done 360 miles and we've only just hit half a tank!!!! We used to do a whole tank doing 230 miles in the jeep. Happy Days..

Its going to save us a small fortune over the month, let alone year. :D:D:D:D

    You think that's good?

My Demo Passat was dropped back yesterday with 340km to empty, showing on the on board computer.

It's outside now with 360km to empty - after doing my 120km round trip home :p

I'd refill before counting my chickens - the fuel gauges on German cars have a habit of moving a lot more slowly over the first half of their travel than the second half.;)

Same on my car its goes really slowly till the last quarter and then flys down like you are running on vapor.
