    Has anybody been watching the Síol series on TG4? Its been on Monday nights at 10pm. Interested to hear what people think?
    I see an interesting one coming up this Monday, the 29th called An Líne...this is what the RTÉ Guide said;

    This is an original and provocative short drama from young Irish director Diarmuid Goggins. Set in an alternative reality, the story revolves around a young couple in an Ireland of strict curfews and regulations. Faced with an unexpected pregnancy and a system that grants or refuses a licence to be parents, Joe and Mary struggle with a decision which will determine their place in a harsh, uncaring society.

    Sounds intriguing...we'll wait and see.

    Synopsis for this coming Mondays;

    In modern day Ireland, disorder rules and the youth are out of control. The Parenting Review Authority (PRA) has been established to counteract what it perceives to be the problem - bad parenting. A curfew is in place for youth’s under 21. Their parents are fined if they break it. But most controversial of all is that expectant parents must attend an interview to decide if they are suitable for parenthood.

    Joe, an underground, bare-knuckle fight organiser, is 19. His girlfriend Mary is pregnant. When the PRA seize him for breaking curfew for the third time in a month they place him under house arrest. Now he finds himself in a dilemma. Accept responsibility, bow to the system and roll in with society or continue along the path of illegal fighting.

    How far over the line will Joe go to make things right?

    Yeah, I watched the first episode and thought it was quite good, I then watched the second expecting it to be a continuation from episode one [I though it was all one series] and thought it was just alright.

    I never watch TG4 but the first episode sounded really good.

    I would definitley watch a full series of it.

    The first time I saw An Líne I thought it didn't make much sense as I was flicking at the time. Enjoyed it the second time round understanding that it was Sci-Fi.
