Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bearings for Planet X Model C wheels

    Hi there
    Lots of noise coming from my wheels (PX Model C) - my LBS has advised that a change of bearings is needed. Does anyone know where I can order bearings? Planet X have given me minimal info, and have basically told me to find them myself.
    Here are the bearing details:
    Front 699 (L8)
    Rear 6001 2RS.

    Are bearings expensive? Given that a new PX wheelset is £99, would the cost of getting the bearings be worth it?

    The LBS reckons that the harsh winter, and my use of a degreaser while washing the bike have probably caused this.
