Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Seems like an ok-ish deal.

The GFX card ain't much, the OS is only 32bit.
It would probably make for a good office computer upgrade.

Vostro is a business model so €509 doesn't include VAT & shipping. There is a delivery discount though so the actual price is €615.89.
No monitor either so not a great deal really.

That's a very good point. Seemed ok compared to the other models.

The CPU itself, the Intel Core i7-860 (Quad-core), is worth almost half the total cost of the system.

The upgrade to 64 bit is free. The processor looks good, and the board can take 16GB of RAM i believe. Graphics isn't up to much, as said. It's alri i guess, haven't compared it to the rest really.

The ATI Radeon HD 4350 is suited to HTPCs, so it is in no way good for gaming.

If anyone is interested in buying this system for gaming, I would definitely recommend choosing one of ATI's newest 5xxx series graphics cards.
