Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I got a call yesterday from a bands press person looking to get some high res images from me to be published in MixMag.
The band have low res for their myspace/web which I was cool with. The images are going to be published in magazine that sells for profit.

First thing I asked was how much I was gong to be paid. The reaction was positive saying that the magazone wouldnt be paying but the record label would be paying. It's to promote the band as aband to go see/check out this summer at festivals and gigs.

This morning I had a missed call and email from the guy at the record label/press company askign for me to send on the high res images saying he is aware I need to be paid.

Obviously I should have a price in writing before I send them off. Whats reasonable and is the payment JUST for MixMag. I don't want to see the images popping up everywhere after they get used in mixmag. I'm guessing £50 an image is reasonable considering the coverage they'll get from the images.

Getting anything is a bonus as they've been sittign on my HDD since November doing nothing!

I think you're underpricing yourself there.

I'd at least double that price, if not more. Maybe €200 for a large image used in a big mag. Also, make sure they credit you too.

    You should know this yourself.
    Or even Fajitas should know.
