Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Much apperciated CabainSail, heres some info on the shot.

    I used a 400d, tripod and Canon 17-85 lens for these shots. I took the shot above at 6:06am at the Chocolate hills, Central Bohol Island in the Southern Philippines.

    It has a light curves adjustment and some sharpening. I was up on top of one of the hills for the above shot at this silly hour. It was the only hill with steps all the way to the top and a guest-house near by so not too much effort getting up there. The sky was fairly cloudless and the sunrise really didnt look like it was going to be anything dramatic.

    Heres one from 5:39am.

    I still cant decide which I like, this or the one at the top of this post. Some people are adamant on the top one, some on this one:confused:

    Did not see this being awarded POTW before?
    Seem to recall the commetry about a great eye for the light coming through....?

    Hope you got the passport sorted, what a nightmare getting up at 3am for something like that.

    Cheers, I did get sorted. Up at 3am, in cold dark rain at 4am, got sorted by 1pm & back in office for 2pm. 11 loooooong hours, but it'll be worth it
