Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Have a 1998 diesel peugeot 306. It needs €900 spent to get it working (fuel pump) and I feel best to srap it. How do you go about scrapping a car? Is a car for scrap worth anything or do I have to pay someone to get rid of it?
    Any advice appreciated

Have you tried sourcing a fuel pump online or from a scrapyard? Shouldn't cost anything like that kind of money.

Have you tried selling it for parts? If the rest of the car's good there may be some interest in it.

If you want to scrap the car, get it towed to a scrap yard and you should get €100 for the car. People are under the illusion that they have to pay to get rid of a car when in actual fact the scrap yard will pay you. You just have to get it there.

Hi work...injector pumps for these should be picked up for a small money...
Do you someone thats handy with cars and could carry out the work....??
if so pick up and fit the pump bypass the immobiler...bingo a car for a few more years...:)
Or you could get a few thousand euro off a new car on the scrapage scheme.
