Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Question about buying Perfect Dark XBLA

I haven't played an Xbox in years, I'm not familiar with buying games etc.

So it's 800 points to buy, which is 12 quid.
I have no Live account right now to speak of - can I pay the 12 quid on my credit card, and play it? What about online multiplayer?

Do I need to be paying a separate amount?

$hit, I'm not sure I even remember what email I'm using with it.

You can buy MS points to buy the game and a subscription for multiplayer in any game shop or cheaper somewhere like here www.live-codes.com

Type the codes in and away you go...... After you set up an account and all that.

It's 12 euro, I hardly care about paying that amount.

My question is: can I make a one-off transaction, or do I need to subscribe to the Live thing as well?

    Downloading the demo now.

The points are a buy as you need expense, to be able to play on line you need a gold membership, if you buy htrough the xbox with credit card it will cost more and renew each month till you cancel. Buying throuhg the site mentioned, you get a code for 3-12 months that once it runs out wont renew automatically. If you are a casual player of online games then it's cheaper and less hassle to go with the web site rather than pay for something you wont use much.
