    Ok, so having done this myself and having helped a few friends through it, here are some key tips for starting to look for a job after graduation.
    • Spend time on your CV - make sure it's competency based.*
    • Seems like an obvious one, but be 100% sure there are zero typos in your CV and keep it as clear as possible. If you can't do it, get someone else to format it for you!
    • Find someone you know and get them to ask you interview questions - you wont be prepared unless you practice speaking out loud and organising your thoughts.
    • Spend time thinking about what you actually want to do - having integrity in your answers will stand to you more than just saying yes to everything you're asked.
    • Don't underestimate networking - "Recession-Proof Graduate" by Charlie Hoehn is very interesting as a concept.

    *Only certain companies use this way of measuring your skills in interviews, however, even if you dont go to a competency based interview, it's a great way to get a better understanding of your own skills.
