Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Theory test questions?

Ok I've got my theory test tomorrow morning, and I've been studying over the past week or so. I'm getting 38/39/40 out of 40 generally on the CD.

But then I found out that I've been studying the old edition, and I looked on the DTT website and apparently 10% of the questions have changed since may 2009. Fecking wish I saw that sooner.

I've only got the old book too (from about 5 years ago)
Aproximately 140 questions out of 1400 have been amended, updated or replaced. These include a number of legislative changes to licensing regulations, the introduction of Digital Tachographs, and changes to speed limit rules. New Stopping distance information in the Rules of the Road have been added. Updates to Hazard Perception questions are also included which test a candidate's ability to analyse a potentially hazardous situation and select the correct course of action.

    Any words of advice?

When I was sitting my theory test, I found some mock ones on the internet and did those which was extremely helpful.

I'm unsure if I'm allowed to post the link up as it is associated with a driving school, but if you Google "mock theory test Ireland" it should appear!

    Good luck tomorrow!

I wouldn't worry too much!! There's really only a small differnce between the Cd-Rom editions. If you're getting 38/39/40 every time I can't see you struggling with the new test.
