Internet Marketing for beginners.

Hey,
So i am just starting out with Internet marketing and i came across this digital handbook called Honey I Shrunk the World. It has a lot of facts and statistics relevant to any one starting a new business and is looking at Internet for marketing.
Any other platform to look at please suggest.

I don't understand people who come on here and just say "Internet Marketing, how do i do it?" or question like "Teach me the piano" and expect a flurry of responses

Its a huge area

Maybe if you are more specific about what type of Internet marketing campaign, what type of product you are launching, what type of demographic are you targeting, your budget, time frame, etc etc.

Its well and good coming on here looking for advice but no ones is going to do your class project
