Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Half rule commercial lease/HP

    Any one know if the half rule can apply to a commercial HP. asked the bank but they said no.

    Half rule only applies to consumer HP unfortunately

    Did you sign a personal guarantee? That might give you a consumer/commercial loophole?

    Is it a commercial vehicle, or is the HP agreement with a company?

    Can't remember the exact figure, but a company with an annual turnover of less than something like 3 Million is still a consumer in the eyes of the law.

    I'm sure someone will correct me, but that's about the one thing I remember from the Institute of Bankers course I was supposed to do when I worked for a money lender.
