Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I picked up a couple of rolls of Rollei IR400 which I plan to run through my Zorki.
After doing so where can I go to get them developed with the negatives scanned to a cd.

Gunns on Wexford street, or the camera exchange on Georges street are probably your best bet. Don't go to conns whatever you do, unless you want to get charged through the nose ...

Do tell them it's IR film. I've never shot it, and AFAIK it's not as sensitive as the efke or kodak stuff, but it's still recommended that you load and unload in subdued light.

are you going to use a filter with it. I've seen the efke film used with R72

Rollei recommend the R72, digital truth page here:
    http://www.digitaltruth.com/products/rollei_infrared.php

Actual rollei datasheet linked at the bottom.

I got it from a friend who had a few rolls that he ws never going to use. I am not sure if he got it from digital truth or www.maco-photo.de. I am sure he mentioned the latter. Looking forward to using it It has to be 20 years since I used film I am also not sure the Zorki I have works properly so I am running a cheap film through it so hopefully it goes well.

http://macodirect.de/index.php?language=en is probably the best place to get it (and efke if you want it). I've gotten efke from there before. Get some diafine while you're at it :D

    expensive postage though.

I will be ordering some supplies form macodirect in the next week or two so if anyone wants me to get them some film, paper etc, just let me know. I have a lot of stuff to order so the postage will work out at very little per person.

I've looked at fotohuisrovo before, bit of a PITA though that they demand bank transfer or cash only. I'm not suspicious as such, because the guy who runs it, Robert, is all over photo.net and flickr and seems to be straight up, but it's a nuisance to set up via BOI at least. And at the end of the day, if something DOES screw up, you've got no comeback at all.

I cant vouch for the either, when I asked where he got it from thats the name he gave me. I also found these www.firstcall-photographic.co.uk when I was doing a bit of research.

Yeah I've looked at those guys too ..
    Standard EU Delivery

Standard Delivery to EU Countries costs from GBP 25.00 for a package weighing up to 30 kg.

And I vaguely remember finding that they didn't ship chemicals out of UK mainland either.

I put in a reasonably large order to ag-photographic a few weeks ago, arrived promptly, and the guy who runs it, Matthew, is pretty prompt at responding to queries. £15 postage again though, and he won't consider another shipping method. That said, I was getting probably about 10kg of stuff, so if you were ordering just some film or something he might do it royal mail or something for cheaper.

ag-photographic will ship 15kg of supplies for £15. That's not too bad as you can get a lot of stuff for that weight. But not great if you only need a few items.
