Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wouldn't that seriously drain your battery? Tethered shooting just sucks the life out of a battery alone, never mind bulb/long-exposure shots.

Did a bit of looking and there doesn't seem to be any way for bulb and tethered to be friends.
I would say your cheapest option (without using the on camera shutter release) for bulb is the ML-L3 wireless remote.:(

I've used this but not with bulb. A little bit messy but does work. Not sure who here first posted it

Phottix wireless controller, for the D300, also has a bulb option.
Never used bulb though, so couldn't tell you how well it works.
    Otherwise, the remote works great.

For tethered shoot (mostly time lapse) I like DCamCapture. It's free, easy to use and most of all Free.:)
The new free Lightroom 3 beta 2 has tethered shooting option but won't fire shutter on bulb mode. :(

This is what I have too...the Cleon II iirc. Haven't used bulb mode either.

Just thinking here, I'd lend you my Phottix wireless remote (D300). I'll be in CC on Saturday, but I won't be back in Dublin for ages, so I'd need it posted back to me, for April 9th. I know two weeks is a bit short, typical really, haven't used the yoke in months, yet I've a wee project already planned for that weekend :(

If that suits you, send me a PM and we can arrange to meet up on Saturday.
