    You can't replace the UPC cable modem.

    As Spear said, you can't replace the modem itself. The two links you have there are just routers, they don't contain any modem. If you already have a wireless router attached to your modem, these new routers may or may not do anything more for you.

    If you want an all-in-one solution, you'll need UPC to supply it, but they'll supply the uber-crap Cisco EPC4245, so don't do that.
