Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Basically when it comes to a possible brain injury caution is the best option

Agreed its a pity but better safe than sorry and well done to the medics for spotting it. The last thing MMA needs is a fighter getting a serious brain injury.

I was expecting this to get fight of the night, only for the card is so strong it would have ruined it.

According to ufc.com, there will be no replacement and Kurt Pellegrino vs. Fabricio Camoes is moving up to the live card.

There's rumblings that Fitch is determined to fight and will take a Catchweight or even a fight at 185!

Alves' agent says they are trying to get the fight with Fitch moved to 112. He says that the CT showed nothing to worry about, no bleeding etc and the New Jersey SAC are just very strict.

    He's fighting Ben Saunders now

Big match for Saunders. Kinda a make or break fight. It'll break Fitch if he loses, it'll make Saunders if he wins.

According to Paddy Powers site they have Saunders fighting Jake Ellenberger, Jake is 6/5, wonder could you lump onto that for Fitch?

    Not a chance.

Why was Thiago having a scan so close to the fight is the question that I'd like answered. Was it due to trauma from the camp or was it concern for a tumour or something because surely he's in his rest cycle now

I'd say it was a mandatory check up before the fight by the commision
