Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone know anyone that'd do this? Car is in Cork, are the AA the only ones?

Motorcheck obviously just has referrals to advantage pitstop, rang the Cork ones and they didnt really seem to know what I was talking about

Are you arranging this from Dublin or are you in Cork too ? If you're in Cork you could bring the car to a reputable mechanic for him to once over it for you. Much cheaper than the overpriced AA check which subsidises Conor Fs wages and the various other non value added activites they get up to.

Im in Dublin, and yea and once over kinda thing is all I'm after. I think the AA are at least €250, I know there are a few doing in Dublin for around the €95 mark... something similar that caters for Cork would be what I'm after.

Failing that, a mechanic garage there that we could bring it to would do it too

Or a motor assessor like Eddie McGrath would be even better, I've used him and he's fair and reasonable, number's in the golden pages,
