    Annbody have knocks on there door during the evenings by lads claiming to collect funds for a drug center in the douglas area?
    they seem to be legit,but calling twice in two weeks seem a bit strange.

    Sounds fishy to me. Never heard of such a place. Reminds me of last week when I was down in the village and there were people in the middle of the road wearing bibs collecting for an organisation seemingly called "the handicapped".

    I'd say its a fiddle

    Don't organisations need to have permits from the police and carry IDs to collect?

    I'm a local too and never heard of the place. Haven't had callers to the door for them either. Sounds a little iffy.
