Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We heard a skylark singing its heart out this morning over the dunes on our dog walk. A lovely first hint of summer. :)

A beautiful sound on a spring morning. I always look forward to hearing it :).

I was working on an excavation in Louth a few years back, and every morning we would be greeted on site by the thrilling of a skylark... I remember eff all about the dig but always remember that sound!

I was passing the back roads of Dublin Airport this afternoon and noticed a few small birds sort of fluttering there wings staying in a short hover over the grass, I checked out the Skylarks song and calls on the internet and it sounds the same to what I was hearing. Would they have been Skylarks? Even when I couldn't see any of them it sounded like there was alot of them in the grass singing too.

That's a good area for skylark, so I would say it's them. I used to see them around Ballycoolin and St Margarets.
