Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

bought a kodak gold film in prague, which seems to have left some kind of sticky goo all over the shutter.

Any ideas on how to go about removing it? Or should I just drop it into gunnes?

Hmm. Dunno how a film would do that to your shutter. What camera is it ? If it's in any way modern then I wouldn't touch the shutter, leave it in someplace for a CLA.

-edit- by 'modern' I mean anything with a bladed metal shutter or similar. I guess if it's an old Zorki or something with a cloth shutter you'd be as well off trying to clean it yourself.

Its not the film actually - as the crap is grease or oil.

I'll drop it into the camera care people
