Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just a quick question as the title suggest the speedometer on my car stops working every now and again for the past few weeks. Usually when I hit around 70/80 it just falls back down to zero stays there for a while and then shoots back up!

Any ideas what the problem could be or how to fix it?? Its a 02 Focus btw

It's a known problem with the Focus. You could get a new set of clocks on ebay. I don't know if the mileage will be transferred though or not.

It's not a cheap job from Ford. They replaced a lot of them in the UK under goodwill but I dont think they did anything like that over here

oh really??? I was hoping it might be something small like a loose cable or something...crap:rolleyes:

I was warned before I bought it that little small things like that go in them and they are not cheap to fix!

It may just be something small too though!!

When it happened my buddies all the dials just dropped (and mileage never increased:D). When it happened mine it was flickering of the dials. It was covered under warranty though as I'd only just bought the thing so I have no clue as to cost
