I just got a tweet from @meteor_mobile and it appears that the long-running problem which was preventing HTC Hero customers from accessing various internet services has now been resolved. I have just tested it out and I am now able to use other Twitter Clients e.g. Tweetcaster etc, and Google Maps seems to be working more…

I have just tested it out and I am now able to use other Twitter Clients e.g. Tweetcaster etc, and Google Maps seems to be working more smoothly.

Great to see that they've FINALLY resolved this issue.

Now, hopefully they will get around to sorting out the 3G problems i.e. the whole dropping off the network and refusing to reconnect problem...
