Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

BMW Sound System problem:

Don’t know if this is the best place fir thread so feel free to move MOD's

I have an M3 2004 that came with a 'Factory Installed' radio/DVD/CD system.

It has this Socializing feature whereby if you speed up or accelerate it Raises the Volume in the cabin and conversely when you slow down or break it lowers the volume in the cabin.

This is causing some sort of static or interference in the sound going to the speakers and the upshot of this is that I have POXY sound from the speakers most of the time !!

    It's slowly driving me nuts!

The speakers are working fine and when I am standing still the sound from the speakers is great.

Anybody encounter this problem before ? Know of any BMW Audio specialists ?

    Any help appreciated.

Have you tried turning the speed-sensitive volume function off?

First place I looked.... Can not find the appropriate function in the manual ? I thought it was going to be something easy like that but no joy..
