I just learned that shockingly all pubs/bars/clubs seem to be closed in Good Friday, is there any that open?

Also a coworker told me that there are some that might open just after midnight any more info on that?

    Thanks!

They're open in Limerick. Laws don't apply in Limerick :D

Welcome to Ireland sir! (or madam) You'll find going to an off licence on Thursday is your best bet for a drink on Good Friday, unless you can get to Limerick, they have a special exemption because Jesus loves rugby.

    Have fun! :)

My local will be open as usual but it would be a bit of a travel from dub. Great pint though worth travelling all the way to the south for:P

Actually, they do. The law states that an exception can be applied for and granted for special occasions.

    The publicans applied.

    The court granted it.

    100% legal.
