Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ps3 problems, freezing during gameplay.

    Friend has a ps3 and it freezes during a short time of gameplay. Apparently it has and is getting worse. The friend rang sony helpline and they advised a hard drive back up etc and a reset. She is only a kid so I'm not sure whether she was able to fully understand the instructions given.

    This has not worked so far. It is out of warranty as well. I did some research and found some interesting fixes based on overheating and possible dust clearing etc.

    Any help or advice appreciated from folks with similar experiences. I suspect overheating could be the problem, since it is a system that is v.powerful with lots of stuff packed into a small space. I have a notion to test this theory by putting it into a fridge for a small while and then seeing what happens with the gameplay.

    It could also be a full hard drive causing the system to struggle with low hard drive space I think. Opinions appreciated.
