digital camera- how can i record longer videos?

i bought a olympus fe 4030 but when i went to record a video it only let me record 25 seconds- how can i change this to record for longer? is it even possible? I don't have any space issues on it- there are no videos or photos already saved on it. I looked through all the options on the camera and couldn't see anything that would let me change the length of recording. Would I perhaps have to buy some add on or something to let me record for longer?

any help would be much appreciated.

What does it say in the manual?
What size is your memory card?
How much space is available on your memory card?

I'm not familiar with your camera but there should be a changeable setting for video.

It'll probably offer Normal, Fine, Superfine etc or maybe frames per second(FPS). The less FPS the poorer the quality but longer record time.

Looking at the manual it sounds like you don't have an SD card installed. A 1gb card would give you 8minutes 55 seconds at highest quality.

Buy an 8GB memory card and you can record for hours .
