Very good game so far, end to end and some crunching battles in the middle!

I don't think Mikel meant to catch Milner with the elbow, Milner kind of jumped into it rather than a deliberate one. A free at the most, but certainly not a red.

Started slow enough but lively now.

Would agree about the elbow - didn't look like Mikel actually moved his elbow at all but would like to see it again.

There was a little bit of contact, minimal and not enough to take him over as he did. Was a dive as such, but the contact was there, he just wanted to make sure he got it.

Malouda been the star man for me so far for Chelsea. Been involved in most of Chelsea's best efforts. Deco not doing too bad compared to previous performances he's had for Chelsea.

I think Villa need to change the formation - Young and Gabby haven't really been in the game at all (even with the Young assist for the goal) Making it far too easy for the Chelsea defence - just hoofing it up to an isolated Carew surrounded by about 4 Chelsea defenders way too often.
