sallins - what happened to Londis?

just wondering what happened the londis and butchers that they closed down so quickley in sallins.

They....closed. That's about it, really. Butchery shut before Londis, which followed a few weeks after. It's a bad time to launch any new business, the location wasn't prime and with a Lidl just down the road a convenience store with high start up costs was always going to be a tough one to make work.

A new store is taking it's place. It'll be interesting to see if it's anymore successful.
