    Have you asked the seller what the voltage requirements are?

    The description states a 9V Battery will power the camera & it takes 12v 500ma for the receiver.

    it says "Plug the DC 12V 500mA adaptor into the power jack of the receiver" in the ad.. is that helpful?

    I really don't care about powering the camera - I just need to be able to power the reciever without mains power..
