Jeffs contracted to TNA at the minute, well if he hasn't gone to jail, was up in court for drugs a few weeks back and didn't hear what the outcome was

EASILY the most over guy in WWE atm..

yeah, hopefully King and Cole's phoney overly face commentary wont take away from his character. I'm sure half of the animosity towards Cena stems from their constant drivel.

So is Randy becoming a face then or what?

that was just an awesome speech from the best wrestler ever imo hes been my favourite since i was 4 wrestling wont be the same without him thank you shawn

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,646 ✭✭✭cooker3

Hmmmn. I didn't consider for 1 second that Michaels was genuinely retiring but after that I may have to reconsider. That seemed pretty genuine to me in at least he actually thinks he is retiring.

It's sad if it really is it. He had so many epic matches but I will, in particular, always remember that Kurt Angle match at Wrestlemania 21. Total wrestling perfection.

"#Hands off the merchandissse!" capped it all off rather nicely. ;)

    Jesus Christ.

I honestly didn't think he was going to retire. That speech though, it kind of rules out a return?

Personally, although it's sad to lose him, I couldn't be happier for the guy. He's getting home to his family safe. Which isn't something that can be said for alot of the industry's top performers. And when you think of the time he's put in,how close he came to losing it all, the memories he's provided.. an absolute master of his art. I can't think of anyone who deserves it more.

I think it was a genuine retirement but so have plenty of others seemed to be and they almost always end up coming back. I guarantee he will wrestle again within 2 years.

The dark match after RAW was Jericho v Edge for the title. To cut a long story short Jericho got himself disqualified and started talking about how he was glad Shawn left blah blah blah. HHH came out and pedigreed him and then flattened him with Sweet Chin Music, classic.

I'm not a fan of Shawn but there was a tear in my eye when he came out and i am sorry to see him go.

    THANK YOU SHAWN

Awesome Kongs available but WWE would never sign her.
Signed up for ROH already; in the TNA news thread.

HHH hit him with Sweet Chin Music? Hahaha. I'd love to see that :D

yeah agree with most of the posts, if it is the end and ive a little doubt that it might not, he said ''i'll do all in my power to not come back'' leaves me with a little thought that he might be back one day.

but if it is the end, and i hope it is and he doesnt do a flair, it was a classy way of going out, a great speech, and no doubt raw and wwe have lost a true great performer, i'm so glad i got the opportunity to see him perform in person. one of the greatest of all time

    A great Raw.

The last segment was the classiest thing I've seen in wrestling. Just so genuine.

While I was always a Bret Hart guy growing up, there's no doubting how unbelievable Michaels has been throughout his career. Just amazing.

So to see him from the early 90's beating up jobbers as as part of the Rockers to seeing him say goodbye 19 years later (and all the ups and downs in between) is special.

RAW or the WWE wont be same without HBK :(

A Legend who should have been this year in HOF imo. If he goes in next year he might come back for one more WM match :P

    Thank You HBK

Fair fcuks to HBK. Hope he enhoys his retirement. That speech killed me. As said before it come across as so genuine that he won't ever wrestle again, which is a shame for all us fans. He can't be replaced. He was never about titles since he made his comeback. He was about great matches and of course Wrestlemania.

BTW did anybody else think he was going to talk about Sheamus when he was talking about the ginger kid?

    just watching it now

It was very emotional, really a sad day in wrestling

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,448 ✭✭✭Garseys

Wow. I'm almost in tears after that speech.:(

What a classy way to bow out. Well done WWE for not ruining it.

    Thank you Shawn.

Nice farewell from HBK. Very tasteful touch by Taker who came out, tipped his hat to him and walked away.

Was it just me or did WWE seriously drop the ball with Jack Swagger? You could hear the gasps as he announced he was cashing in his Money in the Bank. For me personally, it was quite unexpected and exciting. He then backs out of it as Cena gets to his feet.

I doubt Swagger is ready to be WWE champ but it sure would have been something fresh and unexpected had they pulled the trigger and let him cash it in and win or get beaten.

    Hunter hits SCM on Jericho

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,984 ✭✭✭Degag

Did anyone think that Hunter totally ruined the moment by coming out with the glowsticks last night. Poor form i thought.

I'd love to see a HHH/Jericho feud again
