    Very good,
I recently made a tidy spinner type target using
    rebar approx 12mm diameter
    100mm x 100mm x 12 mm steel plate.
    15mm x 3mm x 125mm mild steel bar.

you need to make a frame I used re bar which I was able to bend

take a 15mm by a suitable length piece of 3mm mild steel and bend so that it goes around the rebar. (spinner)

Now weld onto the piece of plate (target)

thread through the rebar and hey presto.

I have fixed spinger plates to timber dowels attached by tye wraps.

Nice one, thanks for that. I might consider a smaller version as I usually use ditches as a back stop so it wouldn't need to be as high of the ground. It would also be small enough to take apart and leave in one of the ditches, I'm sure the landowner wouldn't mind. Cheers, that another little project to keep me busy.
