Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No it is just the RAM you are upgrading, everything will still be installed on your pc as it is.

You won't need to do anything regarding software. Just install the memory and it should pick it up when you power it back up. (Ensuring you wear an anti static wrist band! :D)

EDIT: It would also be wise to check to see if it's the right memory. Just as a warning as it happened to me. Went out and bought the wrong stick. Boy was my face red!

You can use Speccy (http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/10839/find-detailed-hardware-information-with-speccy/) to run a hardware audit to ensure you're buying the right type.
